BROCK MILLER - MUSIC SUPERVISOR
With over twenty songs filling
the soundtrack for American Nightmare, the choice in sounds and
bands becomes a vital part of the movie experience. Musician Brock
Miller joins the creative team of Highland Myst Films as the musical
supervisor. Gathering the best of local Texas bands and recording
artists, Brock will compile the perfect music to enhance each
scene and add to the overall atmosphere and mood of the film.
Inspired by the success and feel of such musically-driven movies as George Lucas' American Grafitti, Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk till Dawn, and Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, Highland Myst Films is creating a unique soundtrack. Unlike many movies which seek "pop" or "trendy" songs that inevitably destroy the lasting nature of the film, it is Brock's intention to create a soundtrack driven by Texas Rythmn & Blues, Old Fashioned Rock-n-Roll, and Classical Gothic sounds that will remain popular and timeless.
Joining the production crew will be Richard Carey as producer and assistant director, Terri Carey as script supervisor, Veronica Hope as Production Coordinator, David Dean as Unit Publicist, Shelly Ziemer as Casting Supervisor, Lowen Shivers and Troy Belvin as set designers, Ned Foster as Optical Designs, Paul Armstrong as First Assistant Camera, and Andrew Arnold as Gaffer.
